FAQs

We know starting therapy can come with a lot of questions and we are here to make the process feel as clear and supportive as possible. Below are some of the most common questions we receive from new clients and families.

  • Our fees typically range from $140–$180 per individual session, depending on the provider and type of service. Specific costs are reviewed during your consultation call. We’re an out-of-network provider, but can provide a session Superbill to help you seek reimbursement from your insurance.

  • At this time, we operate as a self-pay private practice, which means we do not bill insurance directly.
However, we are happy to provide superbills and detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We can also create supporting letters to help you advocate for reimbursement when appropriate.

Choosing a self-pay practice can come with several benefits:

More privacy and flexibility: Your therapy remains confidential without restrictions imposed by insurance companies.

Access to specialized care: We focus on evidence-based treatments like CBT and ERP, which are often difficult to find in-network.

Treatment on your terms: We’re not bound by insurance requirements for diagnoses, session limits, or treatment plans.

If you're not sure whether your insurance offers out-of-network reimbursement, we’re happy to provide a list of helpful questions you can ask your insurance provider.

  • All of our individual therapy services are currently offered via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth. This allows us to serve clients across the state of Florida (and Washington state, for select therapists), making therapy more accessible for busy families, students, and individuals.

Virtual therapy has been shown to be highly effective for anxiety and OCD treatment, especially when using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). In fact, working virtually often allows clients to complete exposures in their real-life environments - at school, at home, in social settings - making progress even more applicable and sustainable.

We’ve found that many clients, particularly children and teens, feel more comfortable opening up and practicing skills in the environments where they actually face their triggers.

  • We specialize in working with a wide range of age groups, from children to young adults, and we tailor treatment based on developmental stage, clinical need, and personal goals.

    We currently serve:

    Children (ages 6 and up):
We support kids navigating anxiety, OCD, school refusal, phobias, social struggles, behavioral challenges, and more. Parent involvement is a key part of our work with this age group, and we partner closely with caregivers to ensure skills are supported outside of sessions.

    Tweens & Teens:
We provide developmentally appropriate care for adolescents dealing with challenges such as social anxiety, panic attacks, perfectionism, generalized anxiety, intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, and low mood. Therapy includes psychoeducation, CBT-based skill building, and exposure-based strategies tailored to their needs.

    Young Adults & College Students:
We offer support around identity development, managing independence, school/work stress, anxiety, OCD, and transitions in relationships or life direction. Many young adults benefit from ERP for OCD, support with emotional regulation, and guidance navigating high-functioning anxiety or burnout.

    Parents & Caregivers:
Whether you're looking for your own support or guidance around parenting a child with anxiety or OCD, we provide both individual parent sessions and structured support/educational groups. We focus on helping parents feel confident, connected, and equipped.

    Neurodivergent Clients:
We work with clients who have autism, ADHD, or learning differences, particularly when these exist alongside anxiety or OCD. Our therapists offer affirming care that supports executive functioning, flexible thinking, emotional regulation, and skill-building in real-world situations.

  • Yes! We believe caregivers are essential partners in the therapy process. For this reason, we offer:

    • Individual parent support sessions

    • Parent University: a rotating-topic group for current clients to provide education and community

    • Workshops and virtual events designed to equip and empower parents supporting a child with anxiety and/or OCD
