Parent Support at The LiveWell Collective

We believe parents have one of the most important—and most challenging—roles in the world. When your child is navigating anxiety, OCD, or related concerns, it’s easy to feel unsure of how to help without making things worse. That’s where we come in!

Our parent support services are designed to empower you with tools, clarity, and confidence so you can show up for your child in ways that are both compassionate and clinically effective.

Why Parent Support Matters

Research consistently shows that parent involvement is one of the most important predictors of successful treatment outcomes for kids and teens. You are not just part of the process—you’re essential to it.

We’re here to walk with you as you learn, adjust, and grow alongside your child. You don’t have to do this alone.

One-on-One Parent Sessions

In these individualized, support-style sessions, we focus on your unique family dynamics and goals. Whether you’re looking to reduce accommodation, understand treatment strategies, or gain a better grasp of what your child is going through, we’ll equip you with practical steps that support long-term progress.

Common themes we address:

  • How to reduce unintentional reinforcement of anxiety or OCD cycles

  • Setting effective boundaries while staying connected

  • Managing school-related stress or avoidance

  • Building consistency across caregivers and environments

These sessions can be added to your child’s treatment plan or booked independently for additional support.

Parent University: Support Groups & Workshops

Parent University is a rotating group offering that brings together parents working through similar challenges. Each round focuses on a specific theme, blending education, discussion, and practical tools in a warm and non-judgmental environment.

Past and upcoming topics include:

  • Understanding Your Child’s Diagnosis: OCD, anxiety, phobias, and more

  • Partnering on Exposure Work: How to support your child’s therapy progress without pushing too hard or doing it for them

  • Validation vs Reassurance: What helps, what doesn’t, and how to respond with empathy and effectiveness

  • Anxiety at School & Home: Supporting transitions, reducing avoidance, and building resilience

Group sessions are kept small to allow for real-time support, shared experiences, and space for questions.
