Session 1: Parent Q&A Session (60 minutes)
Meet the group facilitator, ask questions, and gain insight into the social, emotional, and academic shifts that often occur in the high school transition.
Sessions 2–5: Teen Group Sessions
Each day, your teen will join a supportive, therapist-led virtual group to explore topics such as:• Managing high school worries and expectations
• Staying organized and emotionally grounded
• Navigating friendships and peer pressure
• Communicating with adults and self-advocating
This group uses evidence-based strategies rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is ideal for students who experience anxiety, social stress, or adjustment challenges.

Group cost: $300
This includes five weekly sessions led by a licensed clinical social worker, including a dedicated parent Q&A and four teen group sessions. At just $60 per session, this group offers access to high-quality, therapist-led support at a significantly lower rate than traditional one-on-one therapy, which often averages $150+ per session.Early Bird Rate: $275
Register two week prior to the group start dates (June 2nd or June 30) to reserve your spot at the reduced rate of $55 per session.Space is limited to allow for meaningful group interaction.

This group is designed specifically for rising 9th graders preparing to transition into high school. Please note the following policies to ensure the group runs smoothly and remains a supportive space for all participants:
Eligibility: This group is intended solely for students who have completed 8th grade and are entering high school in the upcoming academic year.
Attendance: Consistent attendance is essential for group cohesion and effectiveness. While we understand that conflicts may arise, missed sessions will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Confidentiality: To protect the privacy of all participants, group members are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding the personal information shared within sessions.
Group Readiness: Participation in this group may require a brief screening call to ensure it is a good clinical fit. If it is determined that a different level of care or group is more appropriate, we’ll be happy to provide recommendations.
Communication: Important group updates and reminders will be shared via email. Please ensure contact information shared is accurate and up to date.
Lexi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker, has specialized experience treating anxiety, depression, and related challenges in adolescents, this group blends evidence-based strategies with real-world support. Lexi currently works as a school counselor, giving her firsthand insight into the unique pressures today’s teens face in academic environments and how to help them thrive.
Starting high school is a big transition, for both teens and their parents. This group is designed to support rising 9th graders in building confidence, emotional regulation skills, and practical tools for navigating this new chapter, while also equipping parents with strategies to best support their child along the way.

Special Saturday Sessions are ideas for clients and families who:
Struggle with consistent exposure practice: They serve as a booster for kids and teens to stay on track with their skills.
Need additional exposure support: We focus on specific areas identified in regular sessions to build resilience and confidence in managing anxiety and OCD symptoms.
Can benefit from focused, reinforced practice: In these short but impactful sessions, clients receive targeted support for maintaining therapeutic gains.
These sessions can also be utilized as a parent-focused appointment to dive deeper into topics such as:
Reinforcing response skills to OCD and anxiety concerns
Practicing supportive responses to exposures
Addressing family accommodations or symptom-specific accommodations
Providing additional support for questions and practice techniques at home

McKenna is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor who specializes in treating pediatric OCD and anxiety disorders, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based approaches like CBT and ERP. McKenna is passionate about equipping parents and families with the education, tools, and support they need to confidently navigate the challenges of these diagnoses, because wellness is a team effort.

Teens will be introduced to the core concepts of DBT and begin identifying their personal emotional triggers. We’ll lay the groundwork for understanding how emotions influence behavior and how to respond more effectively.
Sessions 2–5: DBT Skills & Real-Life Application
Each week, your teen will join a supportive, therapist-led virtual group to learn and practice key DBT-informed strategies, including:• Recognizing and managing emotional triggers

• Building distress tolerance and coping strategies
• Practicing mindfulness and grounding skills

This virtual DBT-informed group is designed for teens and adolescents seeking healthier ways to manage emotions, reduce stress, and build resilience. Over the course of five sessions, participants will learn practical, evidence-based skills rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to replace ineffective coping patterns and improve emotional regulation.
