Groups with The LiveWell Collective
At The LiveWell Collective, we believe growth doesn’t have to happen in isolation. Group therapy and education opportunities offer a supportive space where individuals and families can connect, learn, and grow together with guidance from licensed therapists who specialize in evidence-based care.
Our mission is rooted in making high-quality mental health support more accessible, collaborative, and empowering. Groups allow us to extend that support in a way that fosters community, skill-building, and shared encouragement—all while aiming to reduce the sense of “I’m the only one going through this.”

Parent University: Support Groups & Workshops
Parent University is a supportive and interactive learning space designed specifically for caregivers. This group offers parents the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the mental health conditions we treat at The LiveWell Collective—including anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, phobias, behavioral challenges, and related comorbidities. Through guided psychoeducation, open Q&A, and shared learning with other parents, participants gain practical tools and insights to better support their child at home and beyond. Led by a licensed therapist, Parent University blends expert guidance with real-life application, creating space for both connection and clarity in the parenting journey.
Past and upcoming topics include:
Understanding Your Child’s Diagnosis (OCD, anxiety, phobias, and more)
Partnering on Exposure Work: How to support your child’s therapy progress without pushing too hard or doing it for them
Validation vs Reassurance: What helps, what doesn’t, and how to respond with empathy and effectiveness
Anxiety at School & Home: Supporting transitions, reducing avoidance, and building resilience
Group sessions are kept small to allow for real-time support, shared experiences, and space for questions.
Please note: This group is exclusively available to current clients and their families receiving services at The LiveWell Collective.
Learning about Exposures & ERP 101
In this supportive, therapist-led group for tweens and teens with Anxiety and/or OCD, we’ll break down what Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) actually means, why it works, and how it helps people face their fears in a way that builds confidence and freedom. We’ll cover everything from intrusive thoughts and compulsions to the brain science behind anxiety and why avoidance only makes things harder over time.
What we’ll focus on:
Understanding what OCD and anxiety do in the brain and body
Learning what an "exposure" really is—and what it isn’t
Exploring what it means to sit with discomfort without giving in to fear or avoidance
Identifying your values and how to take steps toward them, even when it’s hard
Encouragement and connection with peers who get it
This group is a great fit for tweens and teens who are newer to treatment, unsure about ERP, need a refresher on ERP or just want to feel more confident and in control of their progress. Whether you’re just getting started or have been working with your therapist for awhile, this group can be a helpful boost on the road to doing brave things.
Please note: This group is exclusively available to current clients and their families receiving services at The LiveWell Collective.
Why Group Support Matters
Shared learning, shared strength:
Group members often find that simply being in a space with others who “get it” is incredibly validating and hopeful.Therapy + Connection:
As an add-on to individual therapy, groups can deepen treatment gains by providing practical tools and real-time opportunities to practice them.Skill-building in a real-world context:
From exposure strategies and emotion regulation to boundary-setting and self-advocacy, our groups are designed to equip participants with actionable skills they can use beyond the therapy setting.Support for parents, too:
Many of our groups include opportunities for parent collaboration. We believe caregivers are a vital part of the support system and deserve tools of their own.
