Lexi Patel, LCSW, C-SSWS

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Certified School Social Worker | Groups Specialist  

Lexi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified School Social Worker through the Department of Education, with a deep passion for supporting teens and adolescents through the ups and downs of growing up. Specializing in youth mental health, Lexi draws from a solid foundation in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Lexi genuinely enjoys working alongside teens, meeting them where they are and helping them face life’s challenges with confidence, clarity, and a sense of empowerment.

Lexi’s goal is to bring energy, authenticity, and a commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for her clients. Lexi believes in the power of connection and shared experience, especially in group therapy settings where teens can feel seen, heard, and understood. Lexi’s approach is rooted in collaboration as she works closely with each individual to uncover what works best for them, helping them build practical, lasting tools for managing their mental health and leading more fulfilling lives.

Education & Training

Born and raised in Florida, Lexi earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Florida State University. As a certified school social worker through the Department of Education, Lexi is equipped with insight to support students and families within and related to the academic environment.

Lexi has received specialized training through her work at Rogers Behavioral Health, where she provided care in a partial hospitalization (PHP) setting. There, she developed expertise in treating depression, anxiety, OCD, and teen substance use. Her clinical experience includes leading Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) groups, as well as life skills and social skills groups.

A Bit About Lexi

Outside of her professional life, Lexi enjoys walking her dog, Millie, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, and playing board games with friends. Lexi has a passion for connecting with teens and demonstrates this not only through her work but also outside of work when she volunteers as a mentor to teens at nearby high schools.
